Kirkendoll eyeing more visits

In a stellar performance, Round Rock, Texas wide receiver James Kirkendoll led his team to one of the biggest upsets of the year versus the state's top ranked Lufkin, Texas team. Now, he's got his eye on official visits and the next round of the playoffs.
The 5-foot-10, 178-pounder says that he's going to wait until the playoffs are over before making official visits but he's got four trips in mind. He's also working hard to take his team past the next round of the playoffs against a tough Allen team.

"I'm working on visits right now," Kirkendoll said. "I'm looking at December or January to visit Florida and Tennessee. I'm also planning on visiting Nebraska and Oklahoma for a visit too, but I'm not sure when those will be.
"I want to have my decision made by late January."
Kirkendoll says that the four teams he plans to visits are in his current top five along with Texas Tech. He also says that all five schools are even. There are some other schools that aren't out of the mix yet either.
"I'm also looking at Michigan some too," Kirkendoll said. "I haven't gotten an offer from them yet, but I've been getting some mail from them though."
Kirkendoll's performance against Lufkin included over 100 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns with one coming on the ground and one reception.
"To everyone else, we were the underdogs," Kirkendoll said. "We knew as a team that we can beat anybody. If we play as a team, I personally think that nobody can out work us."
