Kirbys decision coming soon

Last weekend four-star safety Dondi Kirby took an official visit to Illinois and this weekend he was at Iowa.
Shortly after returning home from his visit with the Hawkeyes the 6-foot-3, 180-pound prospect spoke with Rivals.com about the trip, as well as what he sees happening in the immediate future.

"Everything was okay at Iowa," a less than enthusiastic Kirby said. "The facilities were good. The whole campus was good and the academics are great. Overall it wasn't overwhelming, though. Everything was good with the academics and the school and all that, but it wasn't jaw dropping."
Kirby seemed very upbeat after his trip to Illinois last week and he confirmed that his visit with the Illini was a more positive experience than his trip to Iowa this weekend.
"At Illinois, I guess the coaches just seemed more interested. They were in contact with us a lot and around us a lot. They made me feel like they really wanted me to come there. At Illinois there was a recruiter around us the whole time."
Where does he go from here?
"Well, it's pretty much between Illinois and Iowa," he said. "I might be making a decision in the next couple of days."
