Though Dondi Kirby has an offer list that would make most other prospects blush, right now he is focusing a lot on two schools that haven't offered.
Georgia and Miami have expressed some interest in the 6-foot-3, 180-pound safety from Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway, though they have not offered scholarships.
Don't get the idea that the Bulldogs and Hurricanes are at the top of Kirby's list, but he would like to know more about them and even visit if the opportunity presents itself.
"Georgia and Miami are the ones I really want to visit," Kirby admitted in an interview this week.
"I've gotten mail from Miami and I talked to a recruiter from Georgia."
In spite of that early interest from the two prestigious programs Kirby has not spoken with either head coach, Randy Shannon or Mark Richt.
Kirby is planning on taking all five of his official visits before he announces a decision so don't expect any breaking news for a good while. What does he plan on doing this summer?
"I don't really have plans yet besides 7-on-7s," he said. "I have to ask my coach about any camps."
Marshall is the most recent school to offer Kirby a scholarship.
