"I'm looking at Penn State, Michigan, Florida, USC, and Ohio State. That's about it. And Miami. I'm not sure if I'll take all five official visits. Probably not. We'll see how it goes. I'll take my visits during the season. I'll decide on a college in November I think. Probably my sure visits will be Michigan, Penn State, and Florida. I don't have a favorite. It's all a toss-up."
King was asked for a comment on the four schools he visited this summer.
"At Michigan the players impressed me," King said. "I really liked them. At Penn State I felt very comfortable with the coaches. I just feel comfortable there.
"Ohio State has very loyal people. I have a good relationship with coach Tressel.
"The Florida coaches were really down to earth. That was my first visit to an SEC school and I really liked it."
What is King looking for in a college?
"I'm looking for an early playing opportunity," King said. "And academic support. The coaching staff is important. And having a good recruiting class."
The 6-foot-0 and 180 pound King is a five star prospect. He is the Rivals.com number one cornerback prospect. King has been a varsity starter since his freshman year. He intercepted three passes his junior season and rushed for 1763 yards.
