King Marcus has co-leaders now

Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove offensive lineman Marcus McNeil is back from Tennessee. And he's back with a different opinion of the Vol Nation.
"I didn't expect it to be that nice," McNeil said. "The stadium is humongous and the players made me feel at home."

McNeil, who came into the visit leaning toward North Carolina, said it's now a two-team race with other trailing.
"This puts them right up there with UNC," McNeil said. "It makes it even harder for me. I wasn't expecting it to be that good. But I was blown away."
McNeil, a four-star selection, said what also impressed him were the academics.
"They have this support program for freshmen and sophomores in the engineering school," McNeil said. "It helps you stay on track and keeps you from getting hurt in your freshman year because it's hard. I want a challenge, but also want to have support if I need it."
McNeil is now set to visit Auburn next weekend, Miami on Jan. 25 and Georgia Tech on Feb. 2.
"I know what it's like at Miami and Georgia Tech from other people," McNeil said. "But I also heard that Auburn is in the woods somewhere. I think that'd be a good thing if you want to focus on football and school only, but it might be a bad thing if you get bored.
"No question they're all going to have to compare to Tennessee and UNC now."
