King climbing the charts

There is no shortage of skill players year in and year out in California, and a new name starting to make a move up the recruiting wish list for several Western programs is San Jose (Calif.) Leland receiver Art King.
The 6-foot-1, 186-pound King has picked up an offer from Nevada and will take an official visit there on December 3. He’s also getting regular interest from Utah, Oregon, San Diego State and Fresno State.

“I want to pick a school that has top-rate facilities,” he said. “The academic profile of each school will also be important. I also want to look at the athletic development of their players.”
At this point, King said Utah and Nevada lead for his services. King has 35 receptions for 700 yards as a senior. He wants to wait until he completes his official visits before he makes a final decision.
