Kilpatrick going down same road as Cook

Suwannee (Ga.) North Gwinnett wide receiver Crawford Kilpatrick could see his recruitment take the exact same path as Jared Cook did last year. Cook was Kilpatrick's teammate who had no offers until October, picked up one from Mississippi State until December and then began raking in nearly 20 offers just before signing day before signing with South Carolina.
"DUke is still my only offer right now," Kilpatrick said. "I have gotten calls from Louisville, Florida, New Mexico State, Ohio State and Kentucky so far this month though. Florida, Ohio State and New Mexico State all talked to me about possibly taking official visits there, but I haven't set any up yet."

The 6-foot-5, 197-pound Kilpatrick attended the NIKE camp in Athens where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds, ran the shuttle in 4.25 seconds and posted a 33-inch vertical jump.
"I couldn't make it to any games the first week of the season," Kilpatrick said. "I don't know that I am going to any games this weekend for sure either yet. The only game that I know that I am going to go to is Florida State-Florida, but that is a lot later in the year."
Kilpatrick is ranked as the No. 26 prospect in the Peach State and the No. 51 wide receiver in the nation by Rivals.com.
"Nothing really has changed with me recently," Kilpatrick said. "I don't have any new offers and all of my favorites are pretty much the same at this point. I want to take my visits before I decide and I am going to take my time setting those up so it may not change for a while."
