Kilgo is busy camping

Camp season is in full swing for three-star defensive tackle Darius Kilgo. The Matthews (N.C.) Weddington prospect has already been to two camps and has plans for at least four more in the coming weeks.
"I went to Duke and South Carolina for camps," he said. "Both were pretty good. Duke hasn't offered, but they talked about it and said they're going to evaluate me from the camp and get back to me. Duke was a high tempo camp and very intense. I liked that a lot.

"I liked South Carolina a lot. I like the coaching staff and defensive line coach. I just want to get up there a couple more times."
What's next for the 6-foot-5, 311-pounder?
"I'm looking at going to North Carolina, NC State, East Carolina and Tennessee," he said. "North Carolina is on Thursday, NC State on the 24th and then Tennessee and East Carolina are in July."
Currently three schools stick out to the Tar Heel State prospect.
"I like South Carolina, North Carolina and East Carolina," he stated. "All of those schools are local.
"I feel that South Carolina is a big-time SEC school, North Carolina is beginning to become a big school in the ACC and they have good academics. They haven't offered, but we'll see once I get to their camp. I like East Carolina because of the availability of playing time."
Kilgo added his seventh offer recently from Michigan State.
"I got it last week," he said. "Michigan State is a big-time school and I like their defensive line coach, Coach Gill."
Meanwhile, a decision isn't coming soon for the Carolina prospect.
"I'm probably going to decide about mid-season or so."
