Kilgo claims a favorite

Matthews (N.C.) Weddington defensive tackle Darius Kilgo has taken two visits in recent weeks. The 6-foot-5, 311-pounder stopped by two SEC schools. Following the visits, Kilgo claims one school stands out.
"I just got back from Tennessee," he said. "It went pretty well. It was my first visit there and I loved the facilities and the coaches are great. I didn't get a chance to meet Coach Kiffin, I think he may have been out of town.

"I love the defensive line coach, he always has energy. Tennessee is recruiting me very hard and I'm very interested in them."
Before the trip to Tennessee, Kilgo stopped through South Carolina.
"I went down to South Carolina's camp," he said. "I didn't get as much time with the coaches there. I liked their defensive line coach too."
More visits are likely for the three-star in the future.
"I'll probably take more, but they won't be until I take my official visits. I haven't started scheduling those yet. I haven't narrowed my list either. I want to see how my senior season goes and then see what I've got."
Meanwhile, one school does lead for the No. 75 defensive tackle in the country.
"I'd say Tennessee is my favorite right now," he said. "I love the coaches, facilities and campus. I want to go down there for a game though."
Kilgo has already started fall practice in preparation for the first game on August 21st.
