Kiley is a Nittany Lion

It did not take ATH Jake Kiley of New Hampton (N.H.) Prep too long to make up his mind after he received an offer from Penn State yesterday evening. After speaking to the coaching staff this morning, Kiley made it official and became the latest member of the Nittany Lion recruiting class.
Kiley, 6-foot-2 and 173-pounds first discussed what attracted him to Penn State.

"The fans are amazing, and it's just a great place to be," said Kiley. "Plus one of the biggest things about looking for the right schools was the academics at Penn State. They have the perfect balance. You also can't beat the pride, tradition and integrity of Penn State football."
Since his participation at this year's summer camp, the interest level from Penn State continued to rise. His growing relationship with the coaching staff is another reason that this decision became easier.
"I love the coaching staff," said Kiley. "During the recruiting process I've become pretty close with Coach Bradley and he is a great and respectable coach, and a role model. He resembles everything Penn State. So if the program is run the way Coach Bradley says, which it is, then it truly has to be one of the greatest programs and colleges in the country."
Considering the excitement of the last 24 hours, Kiley is still on cloud nine over his decision.
"It's crazy," said Kiley. "I'm like speechless."
During the summer camp, Kiley worked out at both defensive back and wide receiver, but will likely start his Penn State career at safety. As a junior, he finished the season with 14 rushing touchdowns and 10 passing touchdowns on offense, while adding 47 tackles, four interceptions and three sacks on defense.
