Kicker looking at two sports

Kicker/punter Zach Myatt, who is from College Station (Texas) A&M Consolidated, said, "I would love to get a letter from Nebraska. They are my favorite."
However, Nebraska has not been in contact with him, so that leaves two others as the leaders right now.

"The favorite at this point would be SMU, because of the personal attention or Louisiana Tech, because they actually give kickers full ride scholarships," the 5-foot-11, 165 pound Myatt said about favorites in contact with him. "SMU and Baylor are showing the most interest right now."
He was 14 of 16 field goal attempts with a long of 48 yards. He has hit a long of 60 yards in practice. He punted 24 times for an average of 40.1 yards.
"I would have to say my accuracy is my strong point," Myatt said. "I only missed two field goals and those were both close. I hit the upright with them. I also put six punts inside the 20 yard line, so I'm accurate there as well."
He plans to attend camps at Louisiana Tech, Baylor, SMU, Texas Tech and LSU.
Other than football, Myatt is getting attention from Division 1 schools to play baseball.
He is receiving letters for baseball from Baylor, Tulane, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech and Northern Iowa.
"If I get an offer for baseball without getting one for football, then I'll go baseball," he said. "Otherwise I'm leaning towards football as the primary sport. I may ask the coach if it would be possible to walk-on for the other sport, although the scholarship is the most important item here."
