Kicker having second thoughts
College Station (Texas) A&M Consolidated kicker Zack Myatt has been committed for some time to Louisiana Tech. But that might be about to change.
“Zach received a new offer last night when coach J.B. Grimes called,” said Wade Myatt, Zach’s father, said. “Coach Grimes, who is at East Carolina now, offered him a scholarship.

“When coach Grimes was at Texas A&M he watched Zach kick for the last three years since his son, Nick Grimes, was on the same team.”
So is there going to be a change?
“Zach is still committed to Louisiana Tech, but is considering taking an official visit next weekend to ECU,” his father said. “He’s going to talk things over with him and think about what his options are.”
Another factor that could help ECU is that they are also willing to let Myatt play baseball in college, just like Tech is.
