Kicker gets junior day invite

Salem, Ohio, kicker and punter Bryan Wright put up some impressive numbers as a 'specialist' during his junior season. And the 6-foot-1 and 200 pound Wright also played in the defensive backfield as well as at wide receiver.
But look for Wright to continue his career at the next level as a kicker, punter, or both.

Wright made 30 of 32 extra points and six of seven field goals during his junior season. His longest field goal came from 43 yards. Wright also averaged 39 yards per punt and 83% of his kickoffs went into the end zone.
For his work Wright was named all-conference, all-Northeast Ohio, and all-state.
Wright attended a kicking camp in Miami in January and did well.
"We sent a tape to Bowling Green and they wrote back and said they are definitely going to recruit Bryan," Salem coach Doug Phillips said. "They invited him to their junior day.
"His dad, Bob Wright, was drafted by the Bears and played for Cincinnati. We sent Cincinnati a tape too."
