Kicker Cook makes a commitment

Sioux Falls (S.D.) Washington kicker Trevor Cook has found the right fit.
"I committed to Miami of Ohio," Cook said. "The program there fits me right.

"The campus is beautiful. The coaches are really nice. They have nice facilities. I like that part of the country. I went there when they played Bowling Green and I was out there in the summer."
Cook is not sure exactly when he will be back in Oxford.
"I'm not sure when my official visit will be," he said. "Sometime in January."
The Redhawks were the first to offer Cook a scholarship. But he was also drawing interest from Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern, Stanford, Oregon State, and North Dakota State.
Cook made four of six field goals during his senior season including one from 56 yards. He also connected on 52 of 55 extra points.
The 6-foot-2 and 180 pound Cook also averaged 36 yards per punt, but will concentrate on kicking for the Redhawks.
