Kicker adds Big 10 offer

Lock Haven (Pa.) Central Mountain kicker Chris Gould has already landed one scholarship offer from Pittsburgh, but it looks like he’s now moving on up with another scholarship offer on the table.
“I received another written offer from the University of Indiana,” Gould, who is a two-star kicker that is 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, said. “We have also visited Pitt, Penn State, Ohio State, Indiana and Virginia this summer.”

Gould’s older brother, Robbie, will be a junior at Penn State. Robbie was 17-27 on field goals and 42-45 on extra points for Penn State last fall.
Last fall Chris suffered a broken hip just prior to the first game. As a result he kicked below his own standards last year.
“Despite the hip problem, I averaged 39.3 yards per punt,” he said. “I missed my first five field goal tries, but as the hip began to heal, I made three of my last four kicks."
