Khateeb is a sleeper no more

Nearly half a dozen schools from the ACC, Big East and Big Ten are following Birdsboro (Pa.) Daniel Boone linebacker Saeed Khateeb. It's no surprise when you consider the fact he's a 6-foot-3, 245-pounder. Is there a leader for his services in the early going?
"I'm getting interest from Pittsburgh, Virginia, Connecticut, Purdue and Penn State mostly," he stated. "Personally, I grew up a fan of Miami, but I'm open. If they did show interest in me, it could be a factor.

"I really like the atmosphere down there, it's great. With the new coaches, it looks like the future will be bright."
While Miami has a slight early advantage, Khateeb went into what he wants out of a school.
"I want to go to a school to get an education," he said. "I also want a great opportunity to play football and if I can further anything there, that's great. As far as location, I think I'm pretty open.
"As far as the team, I want to get a feel for them and their personalities to make sure I'm comfortable."
Khateeb earned first team all-division and all-county after registering 98 tackles and five sacks as a junior.
