Keystone RB sets visits to Iowa, Akron

The recruiting season is heating up for Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills running back Ed Collington, who has four offers so far and has two visits set up.
Although he doesn’t have a favorite, the 5-foot-11, 200-pound back has offers from Penn State, Akron, West Virginia and verbally from Iowa. Of those, Akron and Iowa will be seeing him in December.

“I plan on taking all five visits and I'll be in Akron this weekend and at Iowa the following weekend. West Virginia will be one that gets a visit as well, but I’m not sure about the others yet.”
Collington also mentioned that he has been getting a lot of interest from Boston College and Connecticut recently.
This season Collington helped Penn Hills to a 10-2 as he ran for 1,680 yards and 24 touchdowns.
“We did pretty good, we were one of the better teams in the league and we should have won the last game, but they scored in the last minute. Our team all around is great, we had a good line, good receivers, good quarterback and our defense was amazing.”
As for his own performance, he said, “I think I had a breakout season this year, my goal was to get 2,000 yards rushing which I could have gotten, but at the end of the season I got hurt with a sprained ankle.”
So what is he looking for out of a college?
“I want to go somewhere I can play. I need a good education to fall back on and I don’t want to depend on football my whole life. If something does happen, I want to take my major to success. If I have a chance to play early, I want to, but I understand if I can’t.”
Collington plans on taking all of his visits and then making a decision.
