Keystone RB likes Panthers

Glen Mills (Pa.) Garnet Valley running back Marcellus Irving is one of the more talented offensive skill position players in his part of the Keystone State, and as such he has attracted attention from a variety of programs.
Irving only spent a small amount of time at running back this past fall. In five games at the position he carried the ball just 24 times. Those carries translated into 180 yards. He also caught seven passes for 122 yards.

In a recent interview Irving said his favorites are Temple, Pitt, Boston College and Syracuse.
"I was just in contact with all of them recently," he explained. "I like Pitt because it seems like they're paying the most attention to me right now. But that could change at any minute, so I'm not totally sure on everything.
"I do plan on visiting Pitt when the camp comes around. I don't currently have the date. I attended camp at Penn State last year and this summer I plan to go somewhere south."
Irving went on to mention Georgia Tech as a possible destination for a summer camp.
The 5-foot-10, 200-pound back runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and carries a 3.45 grade point average.
