McEowen has recently been hearing from schools including Penn State, Maryland, Iowa, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Indiana and Oklahoma, but he still says he's wide open in recruiting. He recently received an offer from Northwestern.
This season he helped Neshaminy to a 13-2 record as they reached the state finals. He went on to record 89 tackles, 15 for loss and five sacks. McEowen was named all-area, all-league and Pennsylvania Football News second team AAAA all-state.
This spring McEowen is planning on attending the Penn State junior day as well as the Penn State Nike Combine. He's also looking into the Blue Chip Combine at Rutgers on May 2nd.
