Keystone DT starting to take unofficials

It's still early in the recruiting process, but already Radnor (Pa.) Archbishop John Carroll defensive tackle Chris Kennedy has taken a couple unofficial visits. The 6-foot-3, 280-pounder has made his way to two Big East schools. Does he have an early leader?
"I've visited Rutgers and Pittsburgh," he said. "I plan on getting to Connecticut and Syracuse soon.

"I liked Rutgers a lot actually. It was a very nice campus, just over an hour from here. The coaches were great and it seems like it is all about the team there. They have a great atmosphere too.
"The visit to Pittsburgh was kind of rushed since we went to a basketball game. They got across most of their points. I liked it though too."
Is there an early leader for Kennedy?
"Not really, I didn't really even start thinking about football until I got to high school," he said. "I'm just looking for academics as well as what kind of team they have, whether they get along with each other or the kids pull the team down. I want everyone working together for the same goal. As for location, I'd like to stay on the East Coast."
Last season Kennedy posted eight sacks along with five receptions for 104-yards and two touchdowns as a junior.
"Absolutely, it was a big improvement for me," he said. "I improved as an all-around player. I still want to improve more on my 40 time and my body type."
