Keystone DL wants books and ball

Josh Neubert out of Lansdale (Pa.) North Penn is one of the top defensive linemen out of Pennsylvania in 2006.
The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder has already heard from a majority of the schools in the Big Ten along with some in the ACC and Big East. Neubert is still getting used to the whole recruiting scene and is still wide open in his recruitment.

This season Neubert helped North Penn to a 10-3 record and a berth in the quarterfinals. He went on to record 10 sacks and ended up being fourth on the team in tackles as he was named second team all-league.
"We were hoping for a better season, but we weren't expected to do that much," he said. "I was happy with my year, this was my first year starting and I gained a general understanding of the game and I really improved on everything."
So what is the 3.8 student looking for out of a school?
"I'm looking for great academics and a really good business school," Neubert said. "I'm also looking for a school close to home so that I have the cooking and laundry, but academics will play most in my recruitment. It's not just football for me, but also to further my education."
Currently, Neubert has no favorites early in his recruitment.
One school he has been to is Connecticut, so what did he think of them?
"It was awesome, the campus is really nice and they are doing a lot there by spending state grants and turning around a I-AA program to a winning I-A program."
This spring Neubert plans to attend junior days at Virginia and Northwestern as well as the Nike Combine at Penn State.
After that, he is waiting to see what schools are interested and offer and then he'll decide on summer camps.
