The 2015 three-star prospect from San Diego (Calif.) Westview was one of the top quarterbacks at the Steve Clarkson Field Generals camp recently and he said numerous schools have reached out through his junior season.
If that performance is any indication, offers could be close.
"I'm just getting a bunch of mail and we're chatting on Facebook but that's pretty much it right now," Ketteringham said. "It's been general recruiting stuff."
The San Diego Westview standout said Duke, Indiana, Tennessee, Arizona, Colorado and Washington State have been the ones showing the most interest in his recruitment.
He said there is definitely excitement with all the new attention, but he thinks everything could pick up even more after signing day comes and goes next week.
Some summer plans are also being worked out but Ketteringham said it's still in the preliminary stages.
"I've been talking to a couple about coming down," Ketteringham said. "They said they're going to be in the area so they want to come down and see me work out.
"I'm definitely going to work a lot in 7on7 and go to some college camps and get in front of people who make the decisions. I'm still planning those trips."
In November, the 2015 quarterback said about 15 programs were regularly sending mail. Virginia, Northwestern, Colorado, Arizona and Arizona State were also included in that update.
