Kerrigan ready for first camp

With a scholarship offer from Northern Illinois, Muncie (Ind.) Central defensive end Ryan Kerrigan has seen his offer total rise to five. After he attends three football camps, that offer total could rise again.
"I have five offers now," Kerrigan said. "Purdue, Indiana, Ball State, Cincinnati and Northern Illinois offered too. I'm looking at all of them.

"And I'm looking at Notre Dame, Ohio State and Michigan. Those three are recruiting me too. I've had calls from Ohio State and Michigan."
Kerrigan is ready to hit the football camp circuit.
"I'm going to Notre Dame's camp Saturday," he said. "I go to Michigan's camp June 19 and Ohio State's camp June 23."
When asked if he has a favorite, Kerrigan said, "I was always a fan of Michigan. But as far as where I will play, all of them are in the same boat."
Kerrigan doesn't seem on the verge of making a commitment.
"When I feel I'm ready I'll decide," he said. "It could be before the season, during the season, or after the season."
The 6-foot-5 and 225-pound Kerrigan made 67 tackles including 14 sacks during his junior season. Kerrigan had eight tackles for losses and an interception he returned for a touchdown.
