Kentucky WR sets first visit

Georgetown (Ky.) Scott County wide receiver William Lewis had planned all along to spend his Thanksgiving in Pittsburgh watching the “Backyard Brawl” between Pitt and West Virginia. Instead he had a pleasant surprise.
“I had originally planned to go, but we had our semi-final game the next night,” Lewis said. “We won and we play in the state championship on Saturday. To be honest I didn’t think we would make it this far, but it’s a pleasant surprise.”

Lewis attended the NIKE camp in Atlanta where he measured in at 6-foot-3.5, weighed 195 pounds and ran a 4.62 second 40-yard dash.
“Marshall stopped by today and we talked a while,” Lewis said. “I set up an official visit with them for January 14. I have in-home visits set up with Pittsburgh and Minnesota next week. I am also planning on taking an official visit to both of those, but I have not had the chance to set that up yet.”
As a junior he caught 23 passes for 325 yards and three touchdowns for a team that runs the wing T offense.
