Kentucky QB with new possibilities

The second round of the playoffs was the last for dual-threat quarterback K.J. Black of Louisville (Ky.) Fern Creek and now the 6-foot-3, 200-pound No. 17 rated player in Kentucky is moving on towards making a college decision.
Black, a two-star rated prospect, was a bit under the radar early on. However, some offers have started to come in from Eastern Kentucky, Tennessee Martin, and Murray State. Three other schools are in hot pursuit as well.

"I have three other schools that say they'll offer," Black said. "That is Western Illinois, Western Kentucky, and Texas State. I'm also waiting on some Division I schools to come along."
Black also has a favorite for several reasons including a connection to the program.
"I guess you could say Eastern (Kentucky) Is a favorite because I'm familiar with the coaches and their facilities," Black said. "I have family that's played there with my cousin who is a fifth-year senior."
Three visits look to be near set up for Black. After that, he would like to have his decision done by December.
"I haven't set the dates up yet, but they will be next month," he said. "I'm going to Texas State, Eastern, and Murray State. I'm working on getting those nailed right now. Actually, I want to decide at the end of December or the beginning of January. That's the plan."
