Justin Haddix says reports of his
possible commitment were premature.
"I haven't committed to anyone just yet," he said. "I
took an official visit to Eastern Kentucky and liked it a lot, but I haven't
made anything official. In fact, I've had a couple of new teams showing some
real strong interest of late, and I may try to squeeze in a late visit to either
UT-Chattanooga or Samford.
"I don't know what I'll do at this point. I know it's
getting late, but everyone tells me I should keep my options open just in case."
Haddix (6-2, 193, 4.7) led Breathitt County to the Class
2A state championship as a senior. In the process, he broke former Louisville
Male quarterback Chris Redman's record for touchdown passes in a single season
with 58. He finished his senior season with 4,355 yards passing (the third
highest total in state history), 1,115 yards rushing and 19 touchdowns on the
ground.
