Kentucky lineman ready for Big Ten visit

Louisville (Ky.) Central defensive lineman Corey Peters has made official visits to Louisville, Kentucky, and most recently Auburn this past weekend.
"It went pretty well," Peters said of his visit to Auburn. "It's a small town. That's a plus. I liked the players and the stuff we did. And the Auburn football program is on the level with Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame."

When asked who sits at the top of his list among the schools he has visited, Peters said, "It's a tie between Kentucky and Auburn."
Next up is a trip north to Ohio State.
"Ohio State started recruiting me and I was intriqued," Peters said. "I did some research and thought Ohio State might be a place I'd like to go.
"I have wrestling this weekend, then I leave Sunday morning for Ohio State. I like their prestige. I have to get up there for the visit and see what else I like. I'm pretty sure it's an amazing place."
After his visit to Ohio State Peters has a trip scheduled to Michigan Jan. 27. He said all five schools on his list have offered a scholarship.
The 6-foot-3 and 294-pound Peters led his team in tackles and sacks during his senior season. He is the the No. 24 defensive tackle prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 3 prospect in the state of Kentucky.
