Kentucky lands three-star WR

Kentucky has landed a big verbal commitment – literally and figuratively – from one of its main in-state targets.
Three-star Bowling Green (Ky.) Warren Central wide receiver Lonnell Dewalt made his choice today, according to his mother.

“He just came in and told me that he made his decision, that he had let coach Brooks know,” she said. “He hasn’t signed or anything, I don’t think that comes until later, but he likes those people really well. He was excited about them coming back from his visit this weekend.
“He’ll be back later on, and I’m sure he can tell you more about all the details.”
Dewalt (6-7, 215, 4.55) is rated the No. 62 wide receiver nationally by Rivals.com and the top player at his position in the Bluegrass State. As a senior, he caught 43 passes for 851 yards and 10 touchdowns.
He had also been considering Louisville, Auburn, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, West Virginia and Western Kentucky.
