Kentucky, Indiana on mind of FL LB

Class of 2015 Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson linebacker Demetrius Brown is spending the summer trying to make up for lost time after a suspension ended his junior season early. After picking up offers from Indiana, Kentucky and Utah during the spring, he's off to a pretty good start.
"I'm really looking to get some more offers coming in," Brown said. "I missed five games due to suspension so I think teams want to see more of me on campus and see me have a goo senior season."

With offers from the Wildcats, Hoosiers and Utes all in, Brown said he's hoping to visit all three schools in the fall, with UK and IU hopefully getting trips this summer.
"I want to go to Kentucky and I'm going to try to take a trip to Indiana," Brown said. "Both of those will hopefully be next month."
Kentucky has recruited Polk County, Florida hard this year and Brown said he wants to talk more with the Wildcats coaches about their plans to turn the program around.
"I'm hoping to see that they can build a better program," the 6-foot-, 193-pound Brown said. "They don't win a lot but they're in the SEC and I want to take a good look at them because that's the conference where all the championships are won. I'm going to play wherever but if I'm going to play I'd like to play where championships are won."
After offering in the spring, Indiana linebackers coach William Inge and Brown started to build a good relationship. Brown said he's hoping to reconnect with Inge soon.
"I talked to him and he wants me to come up there," Brown said. "I talked to him a lot during the spring but I lost my phone and we haven't been able to connect lately. But I want to get back in touch with him. He's a really cool guy, I really like him."
