BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Kentucky quarterback commit Cutter Boley couldn't have asked for a better start to his senior season, as he put on a masterful performance in Lexington Christian's 56-52 win over Bowling Green (Ky.) in a wild, back-and-forth battle during Saturday's Rafferty's Bowl nightcap.

The future Wildcat looked poised and confident in leading the Eagles offense, finishing 22-of-35 for 342 yards with three touchdowns and just one interception, a pick-six late in the second quarter.

Throughout Saturday's drama-filled matchup, Boley displayed a strong arm and was accurate on all of his throws - short, intermediate, and deep. A few drops from receivers on deep passes could have netted more yards for Boley and more explosive plays for LCA's offense.

However, the Eagles scored the most important thing...a win. And Boley was cool, calm, and crisp in the process as the excitement for his arrival on UK's campus continues to grow.

More notes from LCA v. Bowling Green:

- On the other side of Saturday night's quarterback duel was 2025 signal-caller Deuce Bailey of Bowling Green (Ky.), who had an equally impressive performance on the big stage. Bailey finished 31-of-42 passing for 478 yards and four scores, proving he's one of the best playmakers in the state. Miami (Oh.) and Eastern Kentucky are early offers for Bailey so far.

- Keep an eye on 2026 athlete Trevy Barber out of Bowling Green (Ky.). The sophomore took the opening kickoff 90-yards for a touchdown to kickoff Saturday night's action-packed contest. He was one of Bailey's main targets as well, finishing with eight catches for 101 receiving yards and one score to go along with 138 kickoff return yards. Miami (Oh.) and Eastern Kentucky have already offered.

- While Boley had a great night, his teammate, Brady Hensley, stuffed the stat sheet by totaling 489 yards. That included 407 rushing with five touchdowns to go along with 87 yards receiving and two scores. At 6-foot, over 200-pounds, Hensley has some speed and was a load for the Bowling Green defense to bring down. Hensley's play reminded me a lot of former Stanford running back Toby Gerhart when he used to bulldoze PAC-12 defenses back in the day. Hensley is currently committed to Eastern Kentucky.

- Chase Couch and Parker Chaney were also a couple of standouts on the defensive side for LCA. Couch is a long, athletic defensive end that already has offers from Kentucky, Marshall, and others. Chaney is a talented two-way player, who finished with five catches for 85 yards and had six tackles and one forced fumble at safety.

Boyle County runs roughshod over Gibson Southern (Ind.)

- In the opener of Saturday's Rafferty's Bowl, Boyle County put the pedal to the floor, building a 29-0 lead in the first quarter and breezed to a 36-6 win over Gibson Southern (Ind.). Montavin Quisenberry proved why he's one of best talents in the 2025 class, he hauling in a 37-yard touchdown pass, rushing for 5-yard score, and recording an interception at safety. Over the summer, the three-star athlete picked up new offers from Ole Miss and Michigan after impressing at their camps. Quisenberry said Kentucky is also heavily involved along with Virginia Tech. Expect more power five teams to get involved as Quisenberry continues to show big-play potential.

- Brock Driver looks every bit the part of a power five linebacker. The 6-foot-2, 214-pound prospect recorded a sack, caused a fumble while recording six tackles on the day. Driver is athletic defender that can cover a lot of ground sideline-to-sideline from the middle linebacker spot. Kentucky and West Virginia are in early for the rising three-star talent.

- Air Force commit Sage Dawson showed why he's a Mr. Football candidate on Saturday, throwing for 311 yards and three touchdowns in win. The Falcons are getting a very talented dual-threat quarterback that is equally talented with his arm and his legs.
