Kentucky DE awaiting offers

Louisiville (Ky.) St. Xavier defensive end
Danny Zepp remains in a similar spot to many recruits at this
time of year -- a solid prospect with good upside still in search of major
offers.
"I'm still hearing from Boston College, Toledo, Vanderbilt, Northwestern
and a few others like that, but none of them have been able to offer yet,"
he said. "As I understand it, they've all got three or four guys on their
list that they're waiting to see what happens with, then I could be in line
for an offer. I'm hoping something happens soon, though."
Zepp (6-4, 250, 4.9) received his first offer from I-AA power Eastern
Kentucky. He said he's considering an official visit with the Colonels, but
wants to wait until he gets the final word from some of the I-A teams on his
list.
As a senior, Zepp recorded 68 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and nine sacks
in helping lead perennial Bluegrass power St. X to a 10-3 record.
