Kentucky DB makes pledge
Bowling Green, Ky., is home to some of the top players in Kentucky and one the school's top prospects has made up his mind, according to an assistant coach.
According to defensive coordinator Jeff Griffith, two-star safety prospect Jared Carpenter has pledged to the Wildcats.

"He's heading to play in the Big Ten Conference," Griffith said.
"Jared has committed to Northwestern."
Carpenter measured 5-foot-1 and 186 pounds at the West Lafayette NIKE Camp earlier this spring.
He also had an offer from Western Kentucky and was also getting interest from Duke, Kentucky, Purdue and Vanderbilt.
Carpenter has a 4.0 grade-point average.
