Kentucky ATH can do it all

Kentucky is always a top heavy state when it comes to recruiting and one name that is going to be near the top of a lot of lists is Hopkinsville athlete/quarterback Curtis Pulley.
“I’m hearing from just about everyone and Kentucky has already offered me,” Pulley said.

“Michigan, Oregon, Indiana, Georgia, Virginia, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Nebraska and Wake Forest are just some of the schools that I have been hearing from on a regular basis.”
The 6-foot-4, 195 pound Pulley, who runs the 40 yard dash in 4.5 seconds, is a quarterback for his high school team. While he is getting plenty of looks at the position, don’t rule out the possibility of his playing wide receiver or even safety on the next level.
“I want to play quarterback because I think that is my best position and I like it the best. I would play wide receiver or somewhere else if I needed to though. Position may be a factor in the recruiting process for me, but it won’t be the deciding one.”
Pulley completed 117 of 237 passes for 1,999 yards and 21 touchdowns while carrying the ball 130 times for 901 yards and 17 scores as a junior.
“My top eight schools are Kentucky, Michigan, Wake Forest, Virginia, Nebraska, Tennessee, Georgia and Indiana. I don’t really have a favorite because I haven’t really visited anywhere yet.”
He is also a standout on the hardwood where he is a Mr. Basketball candidate. However, Pulley said that he had very little interest in playing basketball on the college level.
“I want to go to a school that has a good environment not only for athletics, but also academically. The style of offense is important to me, because I want to fit into it. Also atmosphere at the games is something that I’m going to be looking at.”
He plans to attend the NIKE camp at Georgia Tech on May 8th.
