"Ohio State called me at my school today and offered a scholarship," running back Dennis Kennedy said moments ago. "Coach Conley called and I committed. He said coach Tressel would be calling me later today."
"I fell in love with Ohio State over the past couple of years, watching them on T.V. Then I loved my two unofficial visits and my official visit."
The 5-foot-11 and 190 pound Kennedy attended the Buckeyes' games against North Carolina State and Purdue and made his official visit to Ohio State Jan. 16.
Kennedy did it all for for Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) Stranahan including rushing for 967 yards and returning punts. He has been recruited by the Buckeyes as a running back.
