Kendall Moore is set to decide

Rivals250 linebacker Kendall Moore is preparing to announce a decision in the coming days. The 6-foot-3, 232-pounder confirmed he is down to six finalists.
"I've got a press conference this Saturday to announce I'm committing," he said. "I think it's going to be around 5 p.m. I'm down to Notre Dame, Florida State, South Carolina, NC State, Duke and Maryland. All of those schools I chose for my final list because they showed me something special about them.

What specifically stood out about each school?
South Carolina: I've been there three times so far. Every time I've been there I've had a good visit. I went for their junior day and it went well and I saw the facilities. I've been to two games and the atmosphere is always real tight and exciting. It's one of the most exciting places on game day.
NC State: They were my first offer and that means a lot to me. Also, Tom O'Brien and his staff talked to me a lot and they plan on building their defense around me. I like the idea of being the leader of the defense.
Duke: They are a real good academic school. Not many can match them academically and then Coach Montgomery is recruiting me really well. He's been in contact with my coach.
Maryland: They are a good school. One of their linebackers, Demetrius Hartsfield goes there and he tells me good stuff and how they are on the right track. I used to play with him and he's talked about how we can play together again. It's a good opportunity for me and I like that.
Notre Dame: They're a really good school. I like them a lot. Everything went well on my visit and I like the fact they have a nice combination. They have one of the best academic schools; they can almost hang with Duke. They have a real good graduation rates and they also play on top football wise.
Florida State: The tradition at Florida State is ridiculous. They have a lot of good players that have come through there and a good coaching staff. They have Coach Amato and Coach Bowden. With hard work I could succeed there.
With six finalists, what will decide things for Moore?
"I'm looking to find the best fit for me," he said. "It's not necessarily any one factor, it's everything."
Moore maintains that he hadn't quite made up his mind on a decision at the time of interview.
