Kelly names top 10

One of the top players for the class of 2014 has trimmed his list down to 10. Knoxville (Tenn.) Webb safety Todd Kelly Jr. confirmed on Sunday night that he's now considering 10 schools heading into the spring semester of his junior year.
"My current 10 in alphabetical order are Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Stanford, Tennessee, USC and Vanderbilt," Kelly said via text message.

Kelly, who made the Rivals250 watch list for the class of 2014 and has already accepted an invitation to play in 2014 Army All-American Game, has scholarship offers from pretty much every major program in the Southeast.
Kelly made the decision to trim his list after taking a family vacation to Jamaica. The trip caused him to miss the Army and Under Armour Underclassmen Combines, both events he was invited to attend.
Now with his sites focused on 10 schools, Kelly plans to start setting up visits for the spring before attending camps and narrowing his list again in the summer.
"I'm supposed to go to Tennessee in the next couple weeks," Kelly said. "Then I'm going to try and travel out to Stanford and USC this spring."
As far as a timeline, Kelly said he hasn't decided when he might cut the list further or make a possible commitment.
"I don't' have a certain date set yet," he said.
