Kelley visits Pac-12 suitors

Less than a week after visiting UCLA, four-star quarterback Ryan Kelley stopped by Arizona State on Sunday to camp with the Sun Devils.
In essence, the No. 10-rated pro-style prospect in the 2017 class used his last bit of free time before the end of summer to focus on two schools that have been focusing on him. Kelley spent considerable time with ASU offensive coordinator Mike Norvell during the event and met with head coach Todd Graham after the camp.

Still, the 6-foot-2, 173-pound prospect from Chandler (Ariz.) Basha isn't ready to name any favorites.
"I haven't really broken anything down, so I don't know where schools stand," Kelley said. "I want to do that during the upcoming season. I know I'll go to a couple ASU games during the season and I'm looking forward to getting out to some UCLA and Texas A&M games."
All three programs have offered, along with the likes of Nebraska, North Carolina, Washington and Washington State.
The Bruins -- particularly the father-son coaching duo of Noel and Taylor Mazzone -- had the opportunity to impress Kelley last week on campus and it sounded like they did just that.
"It was pretty amazing," Kelley said. "They have a beautiful campus. On the football side, I really like the coaching staff. They are very laid back and easy to talk to. They are really chill and seem like a lot of fun to be around.
"I've always liked UCLA, but that visit helped a lot. I see myself fitting into that scheme and being able to run that offense. They get the ball out quickly and I see myself being able to run the ball more than some people say I can."
The Sun Devils appear to be making Kelley a priority, too, especially since he's in their backyard. He said he's really looking forward to building a relationship with Norvell and intends to pay close attention to what ASU does on the field this fall.
"Right now, it's ASU, UCLA and UNC probably recruiting me the hardest," Kelley said. "I'll continue to get info and I see myself committing somewhere after my junior season."
Kelley passed for 3,108 yards and 30 touchdowns as a sophomore last season. He also rushed for 277 yards and four more scores.
