Kelley to come off the board next week

One of the top quarterbacks in next year's class has decided to come off the board a few months earlier than even he expected.
Ryan Kelley recently named a final five of Arizona State, California, Michigan State, Oregon and UCLA, and it didn't take him long to settle on his choice between those programs, setting a commitment date for Nov. 11.

The four-star quarterback from Chandler (Ariz.) Basha visited the Ducks last month and has also stopped by nearby Arizona State numerous times in the last few months. He also took a trip to Los Angeles to see the Bruins this past summer, but has yet to see them play in person. Oregon stopped by his school last week while in town to face the Sun Devils.

IN HIS WORDS: "A lot of our offense is based on the teams I have listed as my top five and I'm really comfortable with that," Kelley told Rivals.com. "I really don't feel the pressure to stay close to home, obviously with four out-of-state schools in the five. My parents are really open about it and they're letting me choose where I want to go.
"I still am weighing schools out, but I have my favorites so we'll see what I decide."
WHAT'S NEXT?: Kelley and Basha open the postseason Friday night at Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial. He has passed for 2,492 yards and 20 touchdowns in nine games this year. Kelley said he did not know whether he would continue to listen to other schools or take other visits after he commits. He wanted to check out the Bruins at the Rose Bowl but, based on his commitment timeline, won't be able to since UCLA's next home game is Nov. 14. Arizona State also plays on the road this coming weekend so there probably won't be any more stops before the announcement.
