Kelley stops by ASU

Four-star quarterback Ryan Kelley is up to double digits in terms of scholarship offers and now has the task of comparing some of those suitors.

The 6-foot-2, 173-pound prospect from Chandler (Ariz.) Basha made a local stop over the weekend at Arizona State to see the Sun Devils in action for the first time this season. It probably won't be the last time, either, given that ASU has been pushing to keep one of the state's top recruits in the 2017 class from leaving home.
The options, though, are piling up for Kelley, the No. 10-rated pro-style quarterback in his class.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Kelley is set to see the Sun Devils again on Oct. 3, but as a guest of UCLA at the Rose Bowl. He also intends to check out Oregon at Autzen Stadium some time this fall.
IN HIS WORDS: "The ASU game was great," Kelley told Rivals.com. "Before the game I got to talk to all the coaches and afterward as well. I met coach (Todd) Graham's family and that stood out. And I feel like coach (Mike) Norvell is pushing hard so it's another thing that stands out.
"Next I'm going to UCLA and then I'll head to Oregon to see them during my break."
RIVALS' REACTION: Kelley doesn't appear to be in a hurry to make a decision but he has emerged as a priority for several programs, so his announcement could create a ripple effect on other recruiting boards. The Ducks could be considered an X-factor, especially since they offered him and not fellow 2017 prospect Tua Tagovailoa out of Hawaii. Michigan State could be a darkhorse pick -- the Spartans landed Brian Lewerke and Cassius Peat out of Arizona last year. Still, given proximity, this has the makings of a classic ASU-UCLA battle for the four-star signal caller.
