Kelley “completely solid” to Arizona
The Arizona Wildcats may have lost their game yesterday to Wisconsin but they aren’t losing any recruits. Out of the eight players Arizona hosted on official visits this weekend, four are already committed to Arizona. Denton (Texas) Ryan safety/outside linebacker Xavier Kelley committed to Arizona over the summer without even seeing Tucson.
Now that Kelley has seen it, his decision became even clearer.

“It was really nice,” said Kelley. “I really loved it out there. The game was tough but it definitely solidified my decision.”
Kelley says that while in Tucson he really hit it off with some of the current freshmen on the team, and two players in particular.
“I was hosted by Michael Klyce, he is a freshmen safety,” Kelley said. “I really got along good with him, he is a cool guy. I also hung with B.J (Dennard) and Brandon (Lopez) a lot. Those three guys were really cool. I also hung with Ronnie Palmer.”
During the game play was stopped for about an hour and a half due to dangerous lightning over Tucson, but according to Kelley it let him see a cool perspective of the team and the coaches.
“During the delay it was cool sitting down there with the players and watching and listening to the coaches work,” he said. “I am completely sold to Arizona. The trip definitely solidified my decision. All the coaches are great and I had a really good time.”
