Kehs schedules an official visit

Tight end Harry Kehs out of Vienna (Va.) James Madison School just finished up his season. With the year behind him, the 6-foot-3, 239-pounder is now ready to focus on recruiting.
"I haven't really been focusing on recruiting during the season," he said. "Now I'm sending out my tapes to some schools. They are going to North Carolina State, Clemson and Michigan State. I'm happy with what I have, but I don't want to look back and say what could have been. Hopefully I'll hear something by December."

One school Kehs has been waiting for an offer from is Penn State. Is there still a chance?
"It's a real tough situation," he said. "The coaches tell me every time I talk to them they like me as a player and I like my film, but I understand I can't count on them."
Who is the two-star prospect favoring now?
"I'm not really favoring anyone," he said. "Once the tape goes out we'll definitely see what happens."
At this time, Kehs has scheduled one official visit to his lone offer, Air Force.
"I'm definitely going there on December 7th for an official. I plan to take my other visits too," he said. "I want to go there to see what the program is all about. It looks like they're going to be a real good program the next few years. I saw them beat Notre Dame. I just want to see the school myself."
This season, Kehs helped his team to a 9-3 record.
"I had 13 receptions for 200-yards and three touchdowns," he said. "It was really good playing with that group of seniors. We played our guts out every single game and never looked back. My receiving stepped up so much from last year. I also improved on my blocking and defense."
