Kehs makes two unofficials

In the past couple weeks, tight end Harry Kehs out of Vienna (Va.) James Madison School has taken in two unofficial visits. The 6-foot-3, 239-pounder stopped by Navy and Penn State.
"Two weeks ago I went to the Air Force-Navy game," he said. "Everything went really well there. It was a sell out atmosphere with 40,000 people and it was a big deal. It was a good chance to see them both play. Then the Navy recruiter came by my school and is going to watch me some more. I think I'm going to take another visit up there for a game."
Following that visit, Kehs picked up an offer from Old Dominion and then took an unofficial this past weekend up to Penn State.
"I just went up there and it was an amazing visit," he said. "I talked to coach Johnson and he told me he plans to come down and see me in November. He also said I have to talk to coach Kenney some more although I didn't get a chance to because he was busy on Saturday. All the coaches I did talk to mentioned that they are very interested in me and definitely saw a progression from last season to this year and will keep watching me.
"This time around was a little different since I went up with my father and uncle. My uncle played there and I met a bunch of ex-players and alumni. It was a great visit; my uncle is trying to continue the legacy in our family.
"As for the game, nothing can compare to 109,000 people. We got to sit right on the 50-yard line and I even went on the field."
Currently Kehs has no other visits planned in the near future and maintains there are no leaders for his services.
"I do plan to take my officials, hopefully to Air Force and Penn State during basketball season, but right now I'm focused on the season."
This season Kehs and James Madison School are 7-0.
"The season is going great," he stated. "Our team has that fire and even though I'm not getting the ball thrown to me a lot, I'm seeing an improvement. I'm catching the ball better and I'm getting better as a blocker too."
