Kehs discusses camps, favorites

Camp season has begun for Vienna (Va.) Madison tight end Harry Kehs. The 6-foot-3, 239-pounder attended his first camp last weekend at Virginia Tech and has quite a few more coming up.
"I thought the camp at Virginia Tech was ok," he said. "It was a really good workout in the one-on-ones. I thought I started kind of slow, but got into it at the end. The coaches said I did well, but I don't know if there will be an offer.

"It was a good experience for me and I got to compete and hand out with a lot of other kids."
Next up for Kehs is a trip to NC State this week, followed by trips to Virginia and Penn State in the near future.
"I'm hoping NC State will offer because I like them a lot," he said. "I had a good conversation with my recruiter. He pretty much said they gave my tape the best rating they could; now I have to see if an offer comes out of that.
"I'm also hoping for an offer from Virginia. I like coach Poindexter a lot and depending on how I do at camp, an offer may come from them."
The Commonwealth tight end is currently holding one offer from Air Force.
Do any schools lead for his services at this time?
"I've got to say NC State is up there because of the connection I have with recruiter," he stated. "I talked to him for 20 minutes and we didn't even discuss football. I like Virginia too because they are a great academic program and then Penn State is up there since my uncle played there and my mom went there. I've gone to their games since I was little and that would be a dream come true."
