Keep an eye on DT

Defensive tackle Bud Tribbey out of Richmond (Va.) Varina has started to receive some looks from colleges. After a season in which he was named all-district, all-metro and first team all-region it's no surprise schools are checking out the 6-foot-1, 280-pounder.
"His height is obviously going to hold him back a lot, but I'm hoping someone in Division I will take a chance on him," said Varina coach Blanda Wolfe. "He reminds me a lot of Alan-Michael Cash who used to play here.

"He is a very smart player that knows what everybody on defense should be doing. He is very fast for his size and can really chase down a play from behind. He's that type of player."
Currently schools including North Carolina, Virginia, North Carolina State and Virginia Tech have shown interest in him.
Last season Tribbey was named all-metro, all-district and first team all-region after registering 44 tackles, 10 for loss and four sacks.
Tribbey is planning to head to the Nike Camp at Penn State along with a team summer camp at West Virginia.
