This weekend was the final stop for Michael Keenan. Keenan, who won the Simone Award for the best player in Kansas City, visited Kansas.
“The visit went great,” Keenan said. “I had a real good time. Actually I was surprised about how much I liked it.”
Keenan said he was hosted on the trip by Reid Kirby, who is from the same high school. He left early so he could get back for a high school dance. Although Keenan came away impressed with his trip to Lawrence his mind may be made up.
“It is still Nebraska,” Keenan said. “I’m certain that’s where I will end up.”
