"MSU just offered me," reported Kareem.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Kareem is ranked as the No. 233 player in the 2016 class. During his junior season he tallied 85 tackles and 19 sacks en route to numerous post-season accolades.
That junior season production elicited interest from schools across the country. Bowling Green and Northwestern gave him his first two offers in October, and since then there has been a steady stream of schools extending him offers.
Michigan State has been in contact with Kareem since early in his recruitment and he attended games in East Lansing this past season. Being an in-state school, Kareem has watched the Spartans growing up.
"The offer from MSU is very exciting," he said. "It's a special program and I'm glad to have an offer from them. I've been a fan for a long time."
With Michigan State coming through, Kareem now holds from half of the Big Ten's 14 member schools. He also holds offers from schools in four of the five Power Conferences.
