Kanuch schedules second official

Johnstown (Pa.) Westmont Hilltop athlete Brad Kanuch already has a visit scheduled with Maryland on December 2nd. The 6-foot-0, 178-pounder with 4.26-second speed is working on an official with Virginia.
"It's not officially set up yet, but I'm looking at going on November 11th to the Georgia Tech game," he said. "When I was down there unofficially, I wanted to know more about them and hang out with the players. It seems like a great place and I really like the coaches and campus. That should be a really good game with two of the ACC's finest teams going at it. I hopefully will be able to make it as the regular season is done then for us and depends on how we do in the playoffs."

The three-star prospect is still considering a few other schools for his last three officials.
"I'm not sure, but I know I'll be setting them up soon," he said. "I have in mind Wake Forest and Boston College perhaps for two of the other visits."
As for unofficial visits, Kanuch is looking at a few coming up.
"I want to go to the Ohio State-Penn State game and maybe make a trip up to Maryland," he said. "It's pretty hard to do because I got my games on Saturdays."
The No. 24 athlete in the country has received plenty of phone calls from coaches since September 1st.
"I've gotten calls from Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Akron, Toledo, Penn State and a surprise one from Iowa," he said. "The calls from Maryland and Virginia stood out because I have a good relationship with the coaches and they call every week."
This season Westmont Hilltop is off to a 2-1 start.
Brad Kanuch VideoClick "We beat Johnstown last week 27-14," he said. "I'm still coming off a hip pointer injury, but last week was my breakout game. I had eight carries for 115 yards, one catch for 73-yards and two touchdowns. It was good to finally be able to break some because it was heard to cut with the injury. The injury is a lot better now though, the swelling is down and I'll be back to full speed by next week."Here to view this Link.
