"Josh is still committed to Missouri," Josh's father Mike said. "He is solid to Missouri."
The Barbo family recently had the chance to watch the Tigers in action on a trip to Columbia.
"We went to the game against Oklahoma," Barbo said. "We had a good time there and Josh still felt comfortable with everything."
It was on the trip, that the elder Barbo said an event happened that would, if nothing else, solidify his son's decision.
"I spent about $150 on Missouri stuff while we were there. I asked him before we paid if he was really sure. He said he was."
The Tigers were one of the first schools to begin recruiting Barbo, during his junior year and he ended up choosing them over Colorado State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Wyoming.
