Kansas State leads for NJ DB

Irvington, N.J. safety Amir Morris impressed this spring at combines and is now up to four offers. Who does the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder have scholarships from?
"He did real well in the offseason and combine circuit and now has offers from Akron, East Carolina, New Mexico State and Kansas State," Irvington head coach Darnell Grant said. "He is also getting interest from a lot of schools including Syracuse, Rutgers, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, Tennessee and Iowa."

Does Morris have any early favorites?
"I know that Kansas State is very high on his list," he said. "He has known the defensive coordinator there Randy Morris for a while because he is an alum of Irvington."
The Garden State safety earned all-county, area, junior and conference last season after accounting for over 1,400 yards of offense and 13 touchdowns. He added 60 tackles and nine interceptions on defense.
"Amir is an awesome player that is very versatile," he said. "He has game changing ability and he reacts really well to the ball in mid-air."
Morris will be attending camp at Temple in June.
