Kansas safety ready for visit
Riley (Kan.) Riley County safety Jordy Nelson is set for his first official visit.
"I'm still planning on going to Kansas State next weekend," the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Nelson said. "I know they have their bowl game coming up and they'll be leaving for it soon. But nobody has called to reschedule my visit or anything."

K-State coaches Greg Peterson and Bobby Elliott were in attendance at Nelson's basketball game last week.
"They've had opportunities to tell me that we needed to reschedule and so far nothing. So, I'm still planning on going next week."
